LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE TERMS 

By participating in Contact Impro Ibiza, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:  

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK  

I understand that participating in Contact Improvisation and related movement activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:  

- Physical exertion that may lead to fatigue, dizziness, or strain.  

- Falls, slips, or unintended physical contact with other participants.  

- Risk of minor or severe injuries such as muscle strains, sprains, fractures, or joint dislocations.  

- Emotional or psychological effects resulting from physical contact or movement exercises.  

I voluntarily accept full responsibility for any risks associated with my participation.  

2. HEALTH AND MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY 

I confirm that:  

- I am in good physical and mental health and have no medical conditions, injuries, or impairments that would prevent me from safely participating in this event.  

- If I have any pre-existing medical conditions (such as heart issues, epilepsy, musculoskeletal disorders, or any other health concerns), I take full responsibility for consulting a healthcare professional before engaging in activities.  

- I understand that the **event organizers do not provide medical services, and in case of injury or emergency, I am responsible for seeking appropriate medical care at my own expense. 
 

In the event of an emergency, I authorize the event organizers to seek medical attention on my behalf and accept financial responsibility for any medical treatment received.  

3. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY

I agree to:  

- Listen to my body and respect my physical and emotional limits.  

- Take personal responsibility for my actions and movements during the event.  

- Inform the organizers immediately if I experience discomfort, pain, or injury.  

- Respect the personal boundaries of other participants and practice Contact Improvisation in a safe and considerate manner.  

- Take care of my personal belongings, acknowledging that the organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.  

4. WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS  

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the following parties from any liability, claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from my participation in this event:  

- Contact Impro Ibiza, its organizers, instructors, facilitators, staff, and volunteers.  

- The venue owners or operators where the event takes place.  

- Any affiliated third parties, sponsors, or collaborators associated with the event.  

I understand that this waiver applies even in cases of negligence, except in instances of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.  
 

5. MEDIA RELEASE  

I grant permission for photographs and videos taken during the event to be used for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials. If I do not wish to be photographed or recorded, I will inform the organizers in advance.  

6. AGREEMENT AND LEGAL ENFORCEMENT 

I acknowledge that:  

- I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these Liability Waiver and Release Terms.  

- I am fully responsible for my participation in the event.  

- This waiver is legally binding and applies to any present or future claims.  
 

By sending the registration form, I confirm that I accept these terms and fully assume the risks involved.
